Chicago, IL — July 31 2025 — The Foundation of Little Village is proud to unveil the new visual identity for Xquina Incubator & Café, marking a significant milestone in the launch of the incubator’s first phase.

The winning logo, selected through a national public design contest, was created by Trinum Studio, a creative agency based in Little Village, known for producing culturally grounded and visually bold work.

Launched earlier this year, the Xquina Incubator & Café Logo Design Contest invited both local and national designers to submit logo concepts that embodied entrepreneurship, cultural pride, and community empowerment. The contest generated an overwhelming response, with submissions reflecting the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit and diversity of the Little Village neighborhood.

After a careful review process led by a panel of community leaders, entrepreneurs, and design professionals, Trinum Studio’s submission was chosen for its originality, cultural resonance, and visual impact.

The new logo will serve as the official visual identity of Xquina Incubator & Café, a collaborative space designed to support Latino entrepreneurs, promote digital equity, and revitalize the local commercial corridor. Xquina will offer bilingual programming, workforce development, and culturally relevant innovation.

“We wanted a logo that reflected the heart and soul of Xquina — something that speaks to the values of connection, creativity, and community ownership,” said Kim Close, Executive Director of the Foundation of Little Village. “Trinum Studio’s design accomplishes exactly that.”

The Foundation extends its deepest thanks to all artists and creatives who submitted designs. Each entry was a powerful reflection of the community’s passion, creativity, and vision for the future of Xquina.

The logo was officially unveiled at the Foundation’s 2nd annual fundraiser, “Noche de Feria,” held on Thursday, July 24. This vibrant celebration brought together community members, local leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives for an evening of networking, live music, cocktails & bites, and cultural connection.

A special highlight of the night was a live performance by Rosalba Valdez y Los Valientes, whose blend of Latin folk and community storytelling captivated the crowd.
